Paleo Cooking

Hi everybody,

If you live a paleo and/or gluten free lifestyle you do not have to get a lot of new kitchen utensils, if any.

I am sure everybody already has their pots, pans, knifes, etc.

But I found there are a couple pieces I found that make my life easier.

One of them is a cast iron pan. My grandmother and mother used a cast iron pan for everything. It is much better than any non-stick or aluminum pan. If you take care of a cast iron pan and follow the recommendations – season the pan in the oven a couple times a year, do not use dishwashing liquid on it and keep it well oiled – it will last you forever. It also acts like a non-stick pan over time. Very neat 🙂

A spiralizer is another great invention. If you love paleo pasta, that is the machine to get. Trust me. It makes life so much easier. You can make thick or thin spaghetti or wider spirals. Perfect for a paleo and/or gluten free life style.

I will be adding reviews for the different cooking utensils I use frequently to this page. So please, check back once in a while and you might find something worth looking into.

    Hi Karen:
I continue to be amazed by the niches that exist. I learn something totally new every time, this being no exception. No doubt such a diet will help and inspire many, and I am happy to learn of it. keep it going. I wish though that you would add more pictures on the pages, some dishes you have prepared for example. Great work!

        Thank you,
I try to keep my kitchen equipment to a minimum. For one, if you buy new things all the time you spend a lot of money and second, I don’t have the space 🙂
